The “Original Sound of Music Wedding Package” includes the following:
2 nights stay in Maria’s Suite or in the Baron’s Suite of the Villa Trapp (THE ORIGINAL HOME OF THE VAN TRAPP FAMILY before they went abroad!!). It is located in one of Salzburg’s most exclusive residential areas.

• Translation of 2 Birth certificates by an Austrian certified translator
• Filing the documents at the registry office and payment of fees for documentation
• The Sound of Music on CD as a welcome present
• Bridal bouquet and buttonhole in the requested colour(s)
• Transfer by Mercedes E-Class limousine (decorated with flowers matching the bride’s bouquet) from hotel to the elegant Baroque style Mirabell Palace
• Civil wedding conducted by an English speaking registrar in the Marble Hall of Mirabell Palace (considered the most beautiful wedding room in Europe)
• Live organ music recital for the ceremony
• Horse drawn carriage ride in a white wedding carriage through historic Old Town of Salzburg and transfer back to the hotel
• Gourmet 5-course wedding meal including a bottle of French champagne and floral decoration matching the bridal bouquet

As soon as the mountains are covered in snow, its time for your own magical fairytale with romantic horse drawn sleigh-rides. For the more adventurous during your stay you can experience the sheer bliss of skiing on the powdery slopes.

In summer you will be surrounded by old chestnut trees, lush green meadows, waterfalls and glistening white glaciers crowning the deep blue skies.
Your wedding ceremony can take place in the hotel chapel in the hotel grounds or for a catholic ceremony, in a small romantic church close to the village. After the wedding ceremony we will organise your wedding reception to take place in a four star hotel in a romantic secret valley.

Mondsee is a beautiful small Austrian town with breathtaking views over crystal clear lakes and superb mountain scenery. It is only situated 30 minutes from Salzburg city. Mondsee has so much natural beauty to offer, the lake is the warmest in the area and can reach 27c in summer months, ideal for swimming water-sports, boat trips and diving. There are plenty of other activities to do in the area walking, golf or just relax in one of the hotel wellness centres.

Civil ceremonies can take place in the princess room in Mondsee castle which was formally a monastery in the centre of Mondsee.
Church ceremonies can take place in the Mondsee Basilica where the famous “Sound of Music” was filmed 40 years ago.
After the ceremony take a horse drawn carriage to the lakeside to take some wedding pictures with superb mountain scenery.

Wedding receptions can be organised in the hotel castle of Mondsee next to the church or you and your wedding party can travel back to Salzburg to one of its many hotels and traditional restaurants.
